Questions people ask

What is the cheapest paid AI plan right now?

Of the plans we track, Google AI Plus is the cheapest paid plan at $4.99/month (US price). Next are X Subscription Plus and ChatGPT Go at $8/month. Prices were checked on 2026-10-17.

Which AI plans have weekly limits?

Claude Pro and Max (5-hour sessions plus weekly limits), Gemini plans (refresh every 5 hours up to a weekly limit), Grok's X Subscription (weekly refresh) and ChatGPT Pro's GPT-6 Pro model (weekly allowance).

Why don't you list exact message counts?

Most providers no longer publish them. They use compute-based limits or multipliers like “5x Pro”. When a number isn't published, we say “not published” instead of guessing.

How often is Sloane.ai updated?

Every plan row shows the date it was last checked against the provider's own pricing or help pages. Changes go into the changelog and the weekly email.

What is a token?

A small chunk of text, about ¾ of a word on average. Context windows and limits are measured in tokens. See Sloane explains tokens.
